Basically, we would raise bamboo and harvest it, and I'm not sure what we would do for food, but we'd probably eat bamboo.
We can't import bamboo, because that would not help our economy here, even though it would probably be cheaper to outsource our bamboo growing and harvesting production.
If you bring your own Trader Joe's peanut butter (salted or non-salted) and apples, you can have those for food instead of the bamboo.
Get the unsalted kind of Trader Joe's peanut butter if you want me to stay away from your peanut butter supply.
I have an apple slicer if you need to borrow it, but you can't use it if you're not going to stir up your peanut butter so that the consistency is...well...consistent.
Plus, we can't have you dripping peanut butter juice all over the place, it's just not cool.

Here's the skinny: I'm sort of beginning to realize that, although I will always cherish the wonderful memories I've made with my friends, we've grown apart and have less in common. I don't want to cut anyone loose, but I think I'm ready to move on.

More skinny: I'm a quirky, witty person who's a good listener and a really good baker. What I lack in actual knowledge, I make up for with nifty factoids, self-deprecating humor and spontaneous displays of cuteness. I'm a lot of fun and am generally up for anything, provided that it involves minimal public humiliation and preferably no insects. I'm very girly, but I'm fairly low-maintenance and can handle a power drill. I like cats not dogs. I love French, and while I will never feel completely comfortable claiming fluency, I have been known to be funny in French... I think the people I was talking to were laughing for the right reasons. I'm a student. If I were to have dinner with any famous person, it'd be David Sedaris in a heart beat. If he can't make it, I'll settle for Christopher Guest. Small children think I'm cool, and I know the difference between "which" and "that."

I'm a gay guy who spends more time with my straight friends than my gay friends. I generally find them more enjoyable, more laid back, and I have a better time with the straights. I actually used to be a gay bar fly and club goer... not sure why, but with age it just became less and less fun. That said, I really would like to meet more (new) gays, as I feel I'm mssing out somewhat now. I don't think I have any internalized homophobia issues, I actually do enjoy gay bars with the right crowd, and day trips or travelling with other guys would be fun.

So, I'm basically wondering if there is anyone out there with a similar story - as I'm guessing we might get along well. It would be nice to meet someone who can relate and enjoys a similiar environment. And who can have a good time without being uptight and/or totally enraptured with the gay culture/social scene.

Seriously only looking for platonic... but some basics do help. I'm a clean cut, pretty good looking, professional guy, relatively fit (slim). I'm a city-type guy from the Northeast. Direct, straight-forward, and genuine. I'm looking for similar guys......who are not pretentious and who can relax and let their hair down so-to-speak.
