*Gorgeous room in homey, social Mt. Pleasant Group House on Kilbourne Place*
Our co-ed group home has an open room starting Oct 1! You would be taking over a lease that runs through July 31. The room is large, on the second floor, and gets a lot of natural light. It has a large closet and easily fits a queen bed, dresser, and chair. It shares a really large bathroom with two other roommates. The room is unfurnished but the rest of the house is furnished.
The house is extremely spacious, with two living rooms, a large kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and a backyard with parking space. You'd share the space with 3 other roommates (and one friendly dog!), who are all young professionals 25-30 (2 women and 1 man) that like to host game, movie, and art nights. The roommates are quite social but we all value respecting privacy and doing our own things, too. We take a lot of pride in having a space that everyone feels comfortable and at-home in. LGBTQ friendly!
The house is located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, about 1 minute walk to Lamont Plaza (weekly farmer's market and community events!) and 10 minute walk to Rock Creek Park. We have multiple bus lines within 2 blocks away and are very conveniently located to the Columbia Heights Green Line metro stop.
