For sale is the legendary Rans Vrex recumbent bike. This is the first short wheelbase recumbent that RANS ever built. The V-Rex was a collaborative effort between three people that are now known as some of the biggest names in the recumbent industry. One was Randy Schlitter, the owner of RANS. Another player in the V-Rex triad was John Schlitter, Randy’s brother and now one of the principals at Bacchetta. The third member was Mark Colliton, recumbent designer extrodonair and currently another one of Bacchetta’s key employees. As it always has been, the current V-Rex is made from 4130 chromoly tubing (now supplied by Reynolds).
