Mid 2000’s Specialized Dolce E5 SLX Frameset - Ritchey WCS carbon fork - size - $350 (Falls Church)

The frame itself is just over 1KG in weight. Built up this bike is lighter than many modern carbon bikes. If Specialized made this frame today it would kill off their lower end carbon road bike market.
I could fit 700x28 tires with room to spare using Sram Force rim brakes.

Will come with Ritchey WCS full carbon forks and WCS headset, the original Specialized forks, new Origin 8 JIS square taper bottom bracket (makes it easier and cheaper to try out different crank lengths), and seat post clamp. These frames originally came with a proprietary Specialized headset that increased the stack by 20mm. When it wore out I removed it and replaced it with the Ritchey headset that perfectly compliments and fits with the integrated crown race of the Ritchey fork.
Some scratches from use, but otherwise in excellent shape. Local, cash sales only. Sold as is.
