At a $1000 value this big boss bike / trike is near to new as it's only been ridden around the halls of my apartment complex and the parking lot a few times - but as fun as it would be to use it I'm too small to handle it.
It has a very large, substantial, heavy frame that is virtually indestructible, and can be outfitted with a rickshaw bench or another type of passenger seat to make it a bike for two - or for one larger rider at 400 lb or so.
It can run on lower speeds by just using the throttle, or with the pedal assist function it can go to speeds of up to 19 miles an hour.
It says it can go up to a 30 mile distance on one charge - and the battery does hold a high charge for a considerable period of time.
It has a headlamp for night-time riding.
Two anple baskets in the front and the back and a mounted bottle holder ensure that the Rider can carry everything he or she needs on any trip... and runs to the grocery store would be ideal.
A mid-sized dog would also fit well in the rear basket.
Several extras are included such as removable turn signal lights on the handle grips, a battery-powered, rechargeable bike alarm, a 2nd cable lock, a brake lock, a small pouch of bike tools with a tire patch kit for emergencies and a full can of Fix-a-Flat.
Also given is a rain / dust cover and a Coach keychain for each set of ignition keys.
Of course there will be the plug-in battery charger.
You will be free to take a test drive of the trike around the exterior of the apartment building in its parking lot.
If necessary there's a U-Haul location around the corner to rent a pickup with which to take the trike home
