I love, love this boat, but downsizing for a while and seeing if anyone is interested. Please feel free to send offers. Worst I'll say is no.
The good:
- Ready to drop in the water, today.
- Really fun to sail. Fast.
- Clean titles for boat and trailer in my name.
- Standing rigging and chainplates replaced in 2023 when I bought her.
- Some new running rigging (just replacing what was worn out).
- Lots of new Harken cam cleats.
- Two sets of sails including two spinnakers. (I used one set for practice and didn't even take the other out of the bags the previous owner gave me. )
- Trailer has new (2023) tires and bearings and passed MD safety inspection in 2023. Ready to get towed to wherever.
- I excessively butyl taped most of the deck hardware, so no leaks below.
- I barrier-coated the bottom and then ran the expensive Petit Black Widow paint.
The bad:
- Cosmetically meh. One of the previous owners had the boat sprayed with blue acrylic and it's cracking in places because acrylic paint is a terrible choice for fiberglass.
- I repaired some rotten core around the chainplates. Its fixed, but I wasn't going to spend 20 hours reproducing the checkering on the deck so it doesn't look great. Sent photos of the "during" to class association with repair so you can still get a measurement cert.
I have a 4hp Yamaha for it that's fairly tempermental if you would like it included.
