Biography: Born in New Brunswick, NJ on Feb. 28, 1889. Iredell studied with Henry McCarter, Cecilia Beaux, Daniel Garber, Charles Grafly, William Merritt Chase, and at the PAFA. By 1922 he had settled in Los Angeles as a portrait painter of Hollywood celebrities and artistic director of the Hollywood Bowl. His illustrations appeared in national magazines.
