I have several short-term rental units, both right near the Convention Center and a few in Columbia Heights and near H St. Looking for someone to do on-call work for 4-8 hrs average per month. This job would include light maintenance/handyman work, and general random jobs as needed like picking up new furniture, helping guests with questions (typically how to work TV/Roku or thermostat), unclogging drains/toilets, etc, repairing drywall, fixing closet doors, making key copies, changing out door locks, etc.
The job would be to correct any problems that are found during guest stays or during cleans, so I'm looking for a problem-solver, a self-reliant handy creative person. You'll be independent, so trust and reliability are paramount. You'll need to make purchases occasionally of items which will always be reimbursed.
I often assign tasks through an app, so you would need a smartphone.
Will pay $36 for first hour and $24 per hour after that, minimum pay of one hour anytime you go to property (jobs often take much less time than an hour).
