Seeking an Event Project Lead and Assistant to independently lead and operate a pop-up booth at the new, soon-to-open Victura Park Holiday Marketplace at the Kennedy Center.
This is a contract position on weekends for 4-weeks beginning Friday, November 27th with approx 4 to 6 hours of prep the week prior.
You must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the 4 consecutive weeks the following days and times:
-Friday 4 pm to 8 pm
-Saturday and Sunday 12 noon to 8 pm
*You will need to arrive at the market location an hour prior for set-up and pack up is usually concluded within 30 minutes following close of the market.
You will independently lead all event operations to include sales, demos, inventory management, product displays and event sales reporting.
Must have prior event project management and pop-up shop experience in an independent Lead role.
Must have experience and a high degree of comfort with technology including experience using Square and iPad/Apple iOS.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift 30+ lbs.
