As we expand into our new flagship location at Union Market, we’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations, uphold our high standards, and bring a touch of magic to every creation. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Kitchen Manager to oversee daily back-of-house operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends organization, teamwork, and creativity. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth kitchen operations, manage staff effectively, and maintain excellence in quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  
  
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  
  
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control.
  
  
• Develop and refine kitchen processes to maximize efficiency.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  
  
• Collaborate with management on menu planning and product development.
  
  
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  
  

• Flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
  
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts, with extended standing, walking, and occasional squatting or reaching.
  
  
• Ability to grasp, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  
  

• Minimum 3 years of culinary/kitchen management experience in a high-volume foodservice setting.
  
  
• Proven supervisory experience, ideally in a bakery or café environment.
  
  
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
  
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (ServSafe Manager certification required).
  
  
• Ability to effectively manage inventory and food costs.
  
  
• Passion for baking and an eye for detail.
  
  

• Previous experience with French pastries, desserts, or specialty cafés.
  
  
• Comfort with staff training and process documentation.
  
  
• Bilingual communication skills a plus.
