Rooster & Owl is currently seeking a line cook and a pastry cook. We were recently named "one of the best debuts of the year" in DC by Washington Post, and have been gaining a lot of media attention. We are looking to increase our staffing level in the kitchen to meet the demand.
We are looking for someone who has a sense of urgency, works well in a small team environment, has the desire to learn and grow in this industry. Some fine dining experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Someone that fits into our relaxed but driven culture is very important.
We are a New American share plates tasting format. The menu is small and changes frequently. We do our best to work with local farms and producers and base our dishes on what is seasonally available. We are open for dinner only from Tuesday through Saturday. NO Lunch! and NO brunch EVER! Everyone here gets Sunday/Monday off. For more information please visit our website at www.roosterowl.com.
