These worked very well for practicing the trumpet in my apartment. I didn't have a single noise complaint in two years. These also greatly reduced the volume inside the room and the noise transfer from outside. The sheets are hung flat on the wall, and the panels I hung like a curtain so they could be opened and closed. The panels are said to work best when they are hung in a pleated fashion, not taut. I will include all the curtain rings for hanging on rods. I used electrical conduit pipes from Home Depot.
