We got an electric realistic fake fireplace in Dec 2024 as part of our holiday decor, it's awesome for the holidays or any colder weathe day--with the lights and internal spinning, it really does look like a cozy glowing fire! Super safe and beautiful to light up room. This is the actual Amazon add below for $129.99 (note it's currently sold out of stock). Just did a military move to an apartment, so we lost our house with room for the light up fireplaces. Would love for someone else to enjoy....and a remote control/timer function adds to the convenience.

As a military family, we did not get to use very much in between deployments.
