Nice vintage ceramic Lions Head Covered Soup Tureen and 8 matching bowls all in excellent condition, the bowls are good with no chips or cracks. The big tureen does have some light variations in color on one side and a small chip on the underside of the lid. The matching ladle does have some chips on the side, but it should not affect service should you want to employ them. These are a lightweight ceramic and not a heavyweight ironstone. I do not think these are microwave to table. What a delightful way to serve a stew or soup.
