JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate for this position must be flexible, detail-oriented, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, prioritize across multiple competing tasks, and work independently in completing tasks on time. This individual will have excellent written and oral communication skills. Operations Support Analyst will support three different operations areas with their primary focus being on assisting the HR Manager in meeting the daily human resource management of the company. The Analyst will also work on some vendor management areas and program management support areas.

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
• Create and disseminate written emails and other communications
• Answer employee questions and process incoming emails
• Create and distribute documents as needed
• Support employee on-boarding by providing paperwork and emails to new employees, and processing related paperwork
• Assist HR Manger in coordinating and managing the performance review process
• Assist HR Manager with policy and other human resource-related communications with employees
• Track annual employee training and other procedures
• Compile reports and prepare spreadsheets
• Manage adding staff and projects to timekeeping system
• Generate reports to help HR Manager manage compliance with timekeeping system requirements
• Review and validate vendor invoices for accuracy of charges
• Support tracking of project data and deliverables in SharePoint or using other tools
• Assist HR Manager and other managers with other tasks as needed
• Other Administrative duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience working with senior management
• Demonstrated experience working within a office and a distributed team
• Strong knowledge and use of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word; familiarity with MS Project, and MS Visio
• Minimum typing speed of 60+ words per minute (WPM)
• Demonstrated experience working efficiently under pressure or tight deadlines
• Ability to be self-directed and work on tasks requiring analysis, writing, and planning activities with limited guidance
• Ability to communicate well and provide recommendations in oral or written form
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to learn how to use internal systems and support administrative tasks such as generating reports, making administrative changes to the system
• Ability to review vendor invoices to check for accuracy
• Desired Qualifications but not required:
• Experience working with a consulting firm or similar environment with Federal Government clients
• Demonstrated experience providing administrative and/or human resources task support

• Undergraduate Degree

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Candidate will primarily work remotely, but candidates based in DC-metro area required
• Candidate must be willing to regularly travel to Washington D.C. and Virginia for meetings with little notice
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (or similar authorization to work) required
