Legal HR Coordinator - for prominent law firm in Washington, DC.

This position works closely with Alumni Relations Director managing database files, responding to inquiries for file content, preparing biographical summaries of incoming associate lawyers, and preparing information summaries of practice interests, as well as drafting memos and orientations schedules.

This position is also charged with conducting first-day office orientation tours for new attorneys; preparing/tracking expense payments related to arriving associates (bar, clerkship, moving), immigration counsel, and others; inputting new hire information into Workday; distributing firm-wide associate and special counsel arrival/departure notices; processing associate and special counsel changes in status into Workday; maintaining statistical records; maintaining reports and summaries; assisting with coordination of meetings, events, and other programs; distributing media surveys to associates; supporting annual budget process in projecting expenses; preparing information for new hire associate yearbook.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of work experience required, preferably in a law firm environment. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; InterAction experience is a plus.

Salary is $56,700.+ commensurate with experience.
