This position supports International Trade Regulation and Litigation practices for this global firm.
Some of the responsibilities for this position:
Finalize and submit case filings before the Department of Commerce and International Trade Commission in antidumping and countervailing duty and other trade remedy proceedings and related matters.
Finalize and submit court filings before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in trade remedy litigation.
Conduct economic research and analysis in support of trade remedies, trade policy, and litigation matters.
Interact with outside entities such as courts, government agencies, expert witnesses, corporations, and other law firms, to coordinate activities supporting cases.
Draft/prepare legal documents supporting international trade filings.
Bachelor's degree is required, prior paralegal experience in international trade, experience with Federal agency filings, a minimum of 2 years' experience as a paralegal in a large law firm or consulting firm specializing in international trade, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, strong service orientation, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, familiarity with the Department of Commerce’s ACCESS system and the International Trade Commission’s EDIS system, comfortable with demanding deadlines, including overtime as casework demands.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
