Seeking an Executive Assistant/Legal Secretary. Should be detail oriented, and have experience in case management and organization, maintenance and review of files, organization of discovery, and research and writing.
Duties include both office management and litigation support. Office management responsibilities include general office tasks, such as answering phones, coordinating appointments with clients and court personnel, and administrative responsibilities. Litigation support includes drafting correspondence and other documents, preparing discovery for attorney review, proofreading, filing and file management/organization, maintaining calendar and due dates, preparing forms, and handling court filings/service copies.
Essential computer skills include MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Time Matters. Ability to process timesheets and create invoices. Basic legal research, experience with practice management systems, and Quickbooks a plus.
