Senior Analyst, E-Discovery/Litigation Support- For Highly regarded global law firm.
This position is responsible for litigation technology support to case teams and candidate will serve as liaison between attorneys, paralegals, internal support groups and outside service providers. This is a highly respected and very busy department in this prominent firm.
**Candidate will function as hands-on technical expert, conducting data intake and manipulation tasks required by assigned matters/cases. Some of the duties for this position include: assisting attorneys and paralegals regarding case needs to identify discovery document management tools and solutions for transcripts, pleadings and correspondence.
The Senior Analyst will plan, schedule and budget for case specific support such as document collection, processing, review, production and trial; advises case teams on Firm's Best Practices for managing electronic discovery.
Candidate will coordinate with IT and administrative departments to support case team requirements for services such as SFTP transfer, securing source code, and war room setup, administer document review databases, including user rights management, database and coding form design, indexing, import/export of fielded data, OCR/extracted text, and metadata, prepare early case reports of load files and raw data using tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, text editors, and LAW, acts as a mentor for more junior members of the department.
Bachelor's degree required
Must have at least 4+ years of experience in a large law firm or legal environment in progressively more responsible technical litigation support positions
Superior interpersonal and technical writing communication skills
Strong service orientation with the ability to develop effective working relationships with others, including legal teams and vendors, and mentees
Familiarity with methods to identify duplicates, near duplicates, email threads, and families within document collections
Experience in case management to initiate and navigate vendor relationships on cases that may be large or have special needs
Proven success as a team leader who will coordinate tasks with others in the department and with vendors
Extensive knowledge of multiple document review tools such as Ringtail, Concordance, Relativity, EZReview, or Kroll Ontrack Inview
Prior experience with LiveNote, IPRO, or other similar tools required
Experience supporting tools for case and transcript management such as CaseMap and LiveNote
**Candidate should have flexibility overtime and for travel as needed to other offices and trial sites.
