Law Soda’s Starter Plan is a premium Outside General Counsel package designed for founders, business owners, and international entrepreneurs who need both business legal support and immigration filing strategy under one coordinated engagement. For $800 per month, the plan includes up to six (6) hours of dedicated legal support, covering business formation, governance, contracts, staffing compliance, launch counsel, and immigration-aligned legal strategy.
Outside General Counsel refers to a lawyer within our network who provides ongoing legal support for your business through a monthly retainer, helping guide the company from formation through growth, compliance, staffing, contracts, and founder immigration strategy.
This package now also includes EB-2 NIW and L-1 founder immigration pathway support, allowing counsel to advise from the legal foundation of the business through launch and the subsequent immigration petition filing. The business remains operational while the petition is being processed, strengthening both business credibility and the evidentiary foundation of the immigration case. Where the founder is outside the United States, Law Soda can coordinate the company’s U.S. registered agent role and help ensure the legal infrastructure is in place.
For founders in B-1/B-2 status, meetings, planning, training, and negotiations may be appropriate, but productive work must be performed by U.S.-authorized personnel until work-authorized status is approved. Law Soda can assist with role design, staffing interviews, and management structuring to preserve compliance. This package is also highly effective for founders already inside the United States in F-1, H-1B, O-1, E-2, TN, L-2, and certain J-1 categories, where a lawful change or adjustment pathway may support an EB-2 NIW or L-1 transition.
Serious founders and immigration candidates should respond to this ad or reply directly through the contact form on our website with a brief summary of their business concept, current immigration status, country of residence, and long-term U.S. goals. Qualified candidates will then be invited to a complimentary fit-assessment consultation. This consultation is designed to help us evaluate whether your immigration background, business structure, ownership model, proposed endeavor, and timeline make this engagement the appropriate strategic fit. To preserve the premium nature of this service, the consultation is not intended to provide detailed legal advice, individualized strategy, or guidance for self-prepared filings. We respectfully request inquiries only from individuals and companies with a serious intention to retain counsel.
