Dudley's B Sharp Academy has been joyfully teaching children and adults for over 27 years. Take a moments to check out a few videos of our students and check out what people are saying about us.

B Dorsey says:
Our experience with B. Sharp Academy has truly been amazing. It's better than we ever imagined. We decided after wrestling with the decision for about 2 years that we would make the commitment to drive our son Ephraim(10) and daughter Ebban(9) to Washington D.C. every Saturday for lessons. We live in Baltimore County!! So we called Mr. Dudley and explained what we were looking for and scheduled their first lesson. WHAT A BLESSING!! Ephraim and Ebban are working with Mr. Charles Foster who has been awesome. He knew immediately each of their learning styles. They absolutely love music and learning and with Mr. Foster's passion, knowledge, and encouragement they are growing tremendously. We are amazed at the progress they've made in less than 2 months. Their older siblings and family members were shocked to see them playing the piano, especially knowing that they play the saxophone. I love that they practice on their own every evening and in the morning before school. That is a blessing. We have to get a 2nd keyboard now. We are so grateful for Dudley's B Sharp Academy. For anyone who may be contemplating whether or not to attend Dudley's B Sharp Academy don't wait as long as we did. They really are a blessing. Our son Ezra has joined the B Sharp family after watching Mr. Charles Foster teaching his siblings piano he asked if he could give bass lessons a try. Again I was skeptical because he had lessons before in Baltimore and didn't like it. So his brand new guitar sat in his room for about 4 years. After his siblings piano practice we asked Mr. Foster to talk to him about the bass and he did with no hesitation. Not only did he talk to him he took the time to show him some things giving him a mini lesson. He was hooked after that!! I had him take a week and decide if he wanted to play, and at he end of that week to let us know his decision. He has now been taking lessons a little over a month and he is growing tremendously. He is really having a good time and enjoying his Saturday lessons. To see and hear him practicing at night is such a blessing ! B Sharp Academy is such a special place and I highly recommend giving them a try.

Angela Acree says:

Tuesday mornings, my 5 year old and 8 year old sons exclaim that it is Tuesday so it is piano lesson day.

They happily get their books so that they can go straight from school to their lessons.

Mr. Dudley greets them as enthusiastically as they arrive. My sons are engaged each and every minute that they are in their lessons. Mr. Dudley never frustrates them, chastizes them or makes them feel any other way than successful in their quest to learn how to play the piano.
Mr. Dudley periodically makes CD's of them playing - and it is such a joy for my husband and I to listen to them on their CD's and more importantly - they are so proud that Mommy and Daddy are popping in THEIR CD's while riding in the car.
I am a musician and appreciate the value and gift of learning to play an instrument. Their little lives are so much richer because of their study of music. In addition, I know that if a child does not enjoy their learning process, chances are they will not stay with the process and will never fully gain the skills necessary to fully develop their talent and joy in music.
