Whether you are trying to lose weight, build muscle and strength, increase endurance, or simply be healthy, I have the aptitude to get you there! I am an ACSM certified personal fitness trainer with Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. In addition to having a Master's level education, I possess a background in exercise science, nutrition, physiology, and psychology. I am a 33 year old male and have experience personal training men and women from age 13 to 59. My past and present clients have experienced great improvements in physical fitness and body image, and I will gladly refer you to my references to verify.

My training philosophy is centered on compound resistance exercises for strength, power, and functionality, unique aerobic/anaerobic training when fat loss is a goal, and corrective exercises for the muscular imbalances and incorrect movement patterns which many people have. My sports background is in Track and Field, however I tend not to employ running, but rather a more holistic approach for gaining fitness. I have been involved in competitive racing for many years and have learned from some of the best coaches in the nation about the many training strategies employed in all types of sports. I have a good understanding of injury prevention and recovery from injuries. I am an NCAA All-American Track and Field athlete.
My favorite aspect of coaching is helping people achieve far more than they ever thought possible, then seeing it open doors in other areas of their lives. Almost everyone has the potential to be stronger than they think. Smart coaching combined with dedicated training and the right mindset WILL result in getting stronger, and thus being better equipped for just about anything else you want to do.
