Position Summary | Savvy Marketing and Office Manager

Are you a great writer with a passion for business and marketing? AWESOME! We want you on our team! The perfect candidate for this position will also have a passion for real estate and is an efficient multi-tasker. Capital Park Realty is one of the top locally owned real estate brokerages in Washington DC with over $60 million in real estate sold in the DC-metro area in 2016. We have a rare opening for a marketing and office manager and we are searching for the perfect candidate to join our team. The position requires responsibility for ensuring the delivery of excellent organizational support with the ability to multi-task and manage numerous day to day activities. This role calls for high energy, attention to detail, strong people skills, systems of organization, schedule/time management, and excellent phone and writing skills. In addition, a strong candidate should embody a positive vibe that will work well within our fast-paced office atmosphere. We are looking for someone who draws energy from working with people and optimism in the achievement of challenging goals.

No real estate sales experience is necessary, although sales experience is preferred. Highly-driven professionals from other industries are encouraged to apply -- we will train a candidate who shows growth potential and a passion for the position.

Marketing Responsibilities

Manage brokerage social media accounts and engage with followers on a daily basis
Follow the latest DC real estate trends and write daily blog and social media content
Develop and implement online marketing strategy to increase SEO footprint
Manage website content creation team as part of SEO strategy
Manage online review requests and post-closing client engagement
Develop and manage listing marketing material (both online and print forms)
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending classes and workshops

Office Management Responsibilities

Keep regular office hours M-F
Manage company email account and respond accordingly
Compile buyer and seller print marketing materials
Coordinate lock box installation, signage, and showing requests
Schedule property showings and verify appointments
Disburse licensing and accounting documents to appropriate parties
Order office supplies and coordinate office cleaning as needed
Prepare for sales meetings
Research property records, compile databases for marketing purposes
Ability to work some night and weekend marketing events as needed
Manage office mail
Verify contract paperwork
Verify agent productivity database
Process commission checks
Run online credit checks on rental applicants

Qualifications and Characteristics

At least 2 years of prior experience or outstanding demonstrable professional achievement in a competitive industry
Experience in a high-growth or start-up environment preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills and social poise
Extremely organized, self-disciplined and professional in demeanor
Access to reliable transportation to visit properties as needed
Must possess a team focused attitude with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.
Demonstrates willingness to take on additional responsibilities and/or new projects
Ability to accomplish routine and habitual tasks with care and attention to detail
Hands-on problem solver and team player
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred

Salary and Benefits

Starting salary of $48k/year plus performance incentives ($72k+ w/performance incentives)
Average of workweek is 45 hours with some schedule flexibility
Three weeks paid vacation
