TL;DR - Clean title. Bike runs great (ridden regularly). Can be delivered (I will ride it out to you). Super fun sport/sport-touring with all of the classic motorcycle elements - looks, sound, hair-raising acceleration and power, with smoothness and comfort to cruise/tour on.
The Suzuki Katana 750 (1989) is an incredibly fun, approachable but still aggressive bike. It is a classic from its heyday and remains a relatively rare find. The bike rumbles to life with classic motorcycle sound, raw power for open roads, but easy handling and smooth low end power to use around the neighborhood and city. The Katana bridges sports bikes and uprights, giving a forward leaning seat that will satisfy aggressive, sporty rides while not forcing a tuck for long periods, allowing more of an upright/touring ride when you feel more mellow.
The 1989 Suzuki Katana GSX750F is oil and air cooled. The inline four, dual overhead cam engine has a displacement of 748cc. The 97.21 hp @ 10,400 rpm Katana has a torque of 50.89 lb/ft. Top speed is 142.92 mph, which is very good for a middleweight motorcycle. The cable operated clutch drives a six speed gearbox with a chain driven final drive. Dry weight is average at 465.2lbs. The Suzuki has a large gas tank of 5.28 gallons.
One of my favorite elements of the bike is how smoothly (and, if you want, aggressively) it runs from 75 mph to 100 mph, which is a range in which I find a lot of bikes create turbulence for the rider and tail off in acceleration and top speed. This bike can get up to around 150 mph (not that you should!) and it is an incredibly fun and stable ride throughout.
This motorcycle has been kept in garages and covered and is in excellent physical condition inside and out. The brakes are in good shape - no slippage and full stopping power. 70% of the stopping power (at least) is in front brake, the rear brake works adeptly to balance out the ride and smooth deceleration. It is kept on a battery tender and ridden several times a week. Total mileage is 36285 (as shown in photo). Over time the carbs have be cleaned, brakes flushed, fuel lines replaced. The bike is in very good condition and has remained in regular use.
