I'm putting a feeler out there for this Developing Nations Guitars (DNG) aluminum neck-through guitar. Gorgeous reclaimed cherry body in the shape of a B.C. Rich Mockingbird w/ shorter horns. This handmade beauty is both a marvel in precision and craftsmanship. Kevin Bernsten is the builder and he pulled out all the stops on this one. I believe this is the 30th guitar/bass he has made. The aluminum neck is inlayed into the body with both the bridge and pickup directly attached to it. The neck has a satin finish and does exhibit minor scratches, as this was made available to me as a "B-stock" model. The single bridge-positioned humbucker pickup is a Distor'tron, which is Kevin's take on the combo of a Dimarzio Super Distortion and a Gretsch Filter'Tron. Kevin's personal description, "it's a ~13.7k alnico/ceramic hybrid. has good chunk and crystal clear top end. compared to a super distortion, it is a little hotter, has a little less low-mid and a much clearer top end." It plays and sounds incredible. Scale is 25.5" and takes low-tuning very well. I have 11-54s on it now and it is setup in D Standard. Oil-based finish. Just a guess, but it probably weighs in around 9 lbs. The condition is exceptional and has only been taken out of the hard case (which is included) a handful of times for play at home. Never gigged and babied since I've owned it. No shipping and local pickup only at this time. Priced at $2,400. Cash or Venmo accepted. Guitar is located in Charlottesville, VA.
