This is another beautiful, absolutely fantastic sounding R9 from another great year. This 2003 is not one of the confirmed brazilian rosewood reissues from the run in 2003 (confirmed with Gibson). Does it's fretboard look a lot like my other 2003 reissue that has confirmed brazilian rosewood? It does. But just being up front about what I know from Gibson.
In really great shape. This has been played lightly, but only one tiny nick on the headstock and some light picking scratches as to be expected. No major bumps or dings I can find anywhere. There is some tarnishing on the pickup covers and hardware as to be expected, but I believe someone can clean that off. Frets are in really nice shape. It has binding bleed as is normal for '59 reissues, and the binding as slightly aged to a nice cream.
Weighs right around 9lbs on my bathroom scale. On the calipers, the neck measures .92 at the 1st, and 1.00 at the 12th, but I am new to the calipers so I tried my best. These are reference measurements, but your own mileage might vary with your own tools. I make no representations that these are the most accurate measurements.
Comes with the original case, large sheet COA of this era that often goes missing, and the original unopened package of goodies from Gibson! Happy to send more photos. This is a really good guitar that absolutely rips. Priced to sell. Will only consider trades if drastically in my favor. Text at 561-2onetwo-28two4
