This Mirafone bassoon was made by Schreiber in Germany. It is a semi-professional bassoon in excellent ready-to-play condition, made in Germany ("Germany" is engraved below the serial number) of alpine European maple that produces a warm and consistent sound. It has a Full Heckel System keywork. Please note this Mirafone is the advanced semi-professional bassoon made by Schreiber, since it has the left thumb High D key and left thumb whiskey key lock features that are typically found only in advanced model.

It was previously owned by a professional bassoonist, who invested in a nice bassoon gigbag made by Altieri in Colorado. I bought it thinking I will learn it but I don't play it anymore.

1) Experienced bassoonist can tell you this Mirafone has a few advanced features:
a). left thumb whisper key lock
b). left thumb High D
