DC Dreampop/Indie Rock band seeking Guitarist

Hi! We're Ari Voxx & The Sad Lads, an established band that has been recording and performing locally and regionally since 2021. Our sound is heavily inspired by the moods and vibes of 80s/90s new-wave and pop artists. The band is seeking a guitar player fluent in the styles of Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Stereolab, and Siouxsie & The Banshees. The music is heavy in effects (reverb, delay, and chorus galore); non-traditional forms of guitar styles and sounds are encouraged.

Some things we're looking for:

- Primarily seeking guitar, but keyboard skills and music production knowledge is a plus
- We gig locally often (1-4 times per month, depending on availability and opportunities), with plans to tour more regularly (1-2 weeks at a time for now)
- Ability to record quality tracks at home for regular projects is expected
- We rehearse 1-2 times a month in Chantilly VA, usually late evenings
- Writing and arranging capabilities are expected
- While you can put your own spin on our existing material, we expect you to learn a rough approximation of the previously recorded guitar parts
