A trade association in downtown, DC has an immediate opening for an Assistant to the President.
The President recently joined the organization and is looking for someone to be her right-hand person.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an administrative and support background, but also likes operational and process improvement projects. We need someone polished and professional, who can interface and communicate with Board Members and VIP Members.
The Assistant to the President will:
• Handle a complex calendar
• Process improvement and organizational analysis and improvement
• Write communications
• Meeting planning and coordination
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of executive support
The person must be a self-started and be motivated to prioritize and anticipate the needs of the President. Non-profit, Trade Association or Capitol Hill experience is preferred.
