Yep although prices are already through the roof everyone knows they going to get much much worse. Sure we want to bring jobs back mainly manufacturing but it's really too late. Our corrupt as hell government should have stopped or limited it 30 years ago. Now all the former US manufacturers are deeply rooted into China and other countries and it would cost billions to bring them back. Plus they'd lose their cheap labor, low taxes and operating costs.

Can manufacturers still make a decent profit operating in the US? Yes of course they can but they can make much much much more profits operating in other countries. It's all just greed, greed, greed and more greed. And if you think for one moment these companies are going to take a loss in profits due to paying the tariffs you are way off. Matter of fact if they have to pay just a 10% tariff they will raise their goods 20%.

And when it comes to food which they know American's have to have, expect them to double whatever their costs go up. Expect food prices to triple within the next couple years.
