As of mid-May 2026, some Republican lawmakers are expressing fatigue and unease regarding President Trump’s repeated declarations that the war in Iran is won, despite the conflict continuing. While some in the party urge patience, others are quietly questioning the shifting timelines and lack of a definitive end to the conflict.

Also, in case you haven't noticed, your taxpayer money is funding a useless war with the economy and retiree's 401K plans tanking.
