I always chuckle when I see very old men here rant about socialism. Don't get me wrong, I personally have the prejudice and would not vote for a socialist even if wrapped up in as attractive package as Mr. Sanders. Then, these same folk post a rant against insurance companies. I hate to break this to you, but insurance companies (like banks) are money making industries. That's money for them, not you. Trying to regulate them is about as effective as trying to regulate the sex life of your teenage son. They buy and own congress, the executive and judicial branches. To their credit, they are a godsend if you ever have a serious injury or illness, and don't want to go into bankruptcy and be in debt the rest of your life.
Most industrialized nations have universal health care from cradle to grave. You get what the policy gives you, and learn to accept it. But again, at the risk of being redundant, banks and insurance companies own Washington D.C. They have also convinced the feeble of mind that universal healthcare is socialism, which of course equals being bad. If ranting against the system makes you feel better, then some good came out of it one supposes.
