We are a service-oriented, residential property management company that leases and manages high-end Real Estate throughout Washington DC. We are looking for an energetic and motivated Leasing Assistant to join our growing team.

About Us
We are a boutique leasing and property management firm who believes that a high quality of service is essential to achieving great results. We were founded in 2008 and currently manage over 300 properties throughout Washington DC which range from single family homes to individual condominium units.

About You
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Leasing Assistant to join our growing team and assist with the renting of nearly 150 properties annually. We are willing to train the right person if you are hard working, quick on your feet and trustworthy. This is a great position for somebody looking to get their foot in the door in an amazing DC Real Estate industry while working for a growing and tight-knit company.

Job Description:
You will be working directly with our Leasing Manager and assisting with every aspect of the leasing process from the first showing all the way up to move-in day. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
*Showing properties throughout Washington DC to prospective tenants.
*Being on time for showings, even with DC's awful parking situation.
*Following up with prospective tenants and answering any additional questions that they may have before, during or after their showing.
*Managing both our rental inquiry email account and phone line and promptly responding to any messages or calls that are received.
*Assisting with the screening and processing of rental applications.
*Assisting with the marketing and listing of properties for rent including taking photos and writing up descriptions.
*Preparing lease renewal forms for soon-to-be expiring leases.
*Processing sublets for current tenants who are moving out within their lease term.
*Communicating with property Owners and providing them with regular updates on the leasing process.

Tremendous organization and time-management skills are required. Leasing in a top US rental market is extremely fast paced. At our busiest, we can have upwards of 30 properties listed on the rental market at once, and staying one step ahead of everything is crucial.
*Must have high level of communication and customer service skills - seriously, you must have empathy and urgency when dealing with urgent issues that inevitably come up at properties.
*Must have a high level of punctuality.
*Must be computer savvy and comfortable working within Microsoft Office and Google Drive programs along with industry-specific software.
*Must be able to work at least one weekend per month.
*Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, but not required.
*Drivers license is required with reliable transportation. A car is required for this job (milage will be reimbursed).
*DC Property Manager or Salesperson License is a plus, but not required. Must be willing to work towards obtaining Property Manager or Salesperson License in the future.
*Must love dogs and snacks, because we have both at our office.
