A Leading Real Estate Agent in Washington DC is seeking an Operations Manager, Contracts Administrator and Bookkeeper. This team member will be responsible for managing staff of four, brokerage compliance, assisting with marketing and social media, all bookkeeping responsibilities and supporting our agents. In addition to having or gaining the entire skill set of an accomplished real estate professional, you will be helping to manage a small company. Some of the hats you’ll wear include: Real Estate Transaction Coordinator, Real Estate Negotiator, Marketing Genius, Customer Service Representative, Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable Specialist, Vendor Manager, Bid/Repair Coordinator, Organization Specialist, Property Manager, Business Operations Engineer Real Estate Valuation Expert, Technical Writer, Mortgage Processor, Sales Professional, Legal/Liability Risk Consultant, Recruiter, Manager, and Trainer. Over time, you will be expected to gain a level of proficiency, and eventually mastery in each of these areas. In the near future, other people will join the team and will take over some of these various roles, which will allow you to spend more time focusing on new challenges, responsibilities and roles.

Cultural and people person • Engage and build relationships with the agents to ensure their success • Must be Tech Savvy • Quick Learner • Capable of managing multiple responsibilities • Direct and host weekly team meetings, coordinate weekly touches and agent recognition, ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines • Process Commissions • Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable • Process payroll, pay taxes and file quarterly tax returns • Weekly Bank Reconciliation • Position may require you to travel and attend regional events annually • Manage systems that coordinate our lead generation, client information and back office tasking to ensure the team is operating at peak efficiency • Maintain excellent working relationships with vendors who represent our brand is a positive light and provide good service to our customers • Provide training for all staff on key trends in the marketplace and new tools that are available to keep us cutting edge • Create open communication process between agents and customers so everyone is kept up to date on the home sale status • Track customer satisfaction data and share with the team so everyone is focused on providing exceptional service.
Organized and task oriented • Embraces Technology - Tech Savvy • Minimum three years of experience as a full-time bookkeeper (or like) • Able to lead and manage a staff of 4 • Real Estate Experience a plus but not mandatory • Proficient in Google, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher • Candidate will be required to take a bookkeeping assessment exam • High school diploma required and some college a plus • Training experience a huge plus • Prefer 3 or more years of administrative or executive assistant experience • Exceptional proofreading skills and detail-orientation required
