I'm looking to sublet a room or studio apartment from Oct 24 - Nov 24. I'm an actor working on a show with a theater company in DC. I'm staying at a friend's place for now, looking for another place to stay when they get back from their gig.
About me:
- I'm pretty quiet at home, tend to keep to myself
- I love to cook but I'm good at keeping common areas clean (i.e. bath, kitchen, living room)
- I don't have any pets; I like cats, but I'm allergic (I do have antihistamines for the right feline-friendly place) and I love dogs
- In addition to acting I work part-time a transcription clerk for new streaming shows
- Openly gay
- Hobbies are theater, dance, fitness, comedy, and old-school computer games
What I'm looking for:
- A room or studio apartment from Oct 24 - Nov 24, 2025
- I don't drive, so access to the Metro (or a walkable distance to the theater in NWDC) is essential
- I need a reliable high speed Internet connection for my transcription work
- I also need to listen carefully when doing transcription work, so I'd prefer somewhere pretty chill, not too noisy
- Budget of $800 - $1300, negotiable for really special places
