We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated individuals to join our flowerz family as Business Development Specialists. You’ll be the first point of client contact, making you responsible for educating and evangelizing the flowerz brand. You’ll learn and cultivate the skills needed to succeed in a growing sales organization within the emerging hemp industry.
Our ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented self-starter. They have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and sound great on the phone.
You will report to the Director of Sales and will coordinate with our sales and marketing teams to help achieve the company’s goals.
·Execute sales strategies focused primarily in the convenience store and the CBD store space
·Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
·Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
·Identify and target new sales opportunities within the U.S. (including cold calling, direct emailing, walk-ins, social media outreach, and attending events)
·Learn and cultivate an interest in, and understanding of, our company, product, deployment, and the hemp/CBD industry
·Own geographic markets while managing and growing a robust pipeline
·Ongoing management of any accounts that you close
·Provide customer feedback with the operations team to improve product line quality control
·Provide feedback to the marketing team to continuously improve point-of-sale and collateral materials
·Where necessary, support marketing efforts
·Enjoy the freedom and accessibility of a remote position by self-starting YOUR own way
WHO YOU ARE:
·You have a minimum of 2 years successfully selling products/services to businesses - bonus if you have experience relating to c-stores or brick and mortar retail
·You’re persuasive and have excellent negotiation and presentation skills. You can effectively communicate with senior business executives at the “C” level and are comfortable articulating the business value
·Ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and achieve success with minimal oversight in a sometimes ambiguous work environment
