Leidos is looking for our next TS/SCI‑cleared DevOps Software Engineer to join a high‑energy team building and deploying a cutting‑edge technology stack in support of the DIA‑NMEC (Nional Media Exploition Center) DOMEX Technology Plform (DTP). This role is part of a 10‑year program supporting the DOMEX Da Discovery Plform (D3P) Modernizion effort, where you’ll contribute to mission‑critical capabilities alongside a collaborive, innovive, and growth‑oriented team.

While the majority of work is performed on‑site our customer locion in Bethesda, MD, we offer a flexible schedule and occasional opportunities for remote work.

Wh You’ll Do

As a DevOps Software Engineer, you’ll help design, deploy, and maintain a full‑stack, containerized microservices architecture. You’ll also support systems administrion, installion, configurion, and the broader adoption of DevOps best practices across cross‑functional engineering teams. In this fast‑paced environment, you’ll collabore closely with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operions, and integrion teams.

You will work with a multidisciplinary group of developers, integrors, and system administrors to:

• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big‑da pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automion to accelere development and improve reliability

• Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments

• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new feures and evolving requirements

• Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities

• Contribute technical input to engineering documention, diagrams, and models

• Participe in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and reled team activities

Wh You Bring

You’re enthusiastic, collaborive, and comfortable working with teammes across a range of technical backgrounds. You also meet the following qualificions:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or reled field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience; 6+ years with a Master’s

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph

• Strong Linux proficiency

• Hands‑on experience with containers and Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD orchestrion and GitLab

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana

• Demonstred success working in cross‑functional engineering environments

Bonus Points

You’ll stand out even more if you bring:

• Experience opering systems scale

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Development experience (Bash, PowerShell, SALT, Python, Groovy, Java, etc.)

• Experience supporting enterprise or production systems

• Familiarity with:

  • Kafka or other messaging systems (AMQP, JMS)

  • Kubernetes monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

  • GPU‑based Kubernetes

  • SALT for deployment automion

  • Helm / Helmfile

  • Nexus
