California St NW near 18th St NW
2BR / 1Ba 900ft2 available now
rent period: monthly
Huge gorgeous windows, everything you need. Looking for a 3-month sublease with the possibility of staying longer. I'm injured and can't do stairs for a while so I'm living elsewhere. Place is tidier now than some of these pics show.

Rooms are huge and fully furnished.

Porch looks out on the Washington Monument and National Mall.
A stone's throw from the exciting restaurants, swimming pool, bars, parks, etc of central AdMo.

I will want to meet by videochat for a friendly vibe check and so you can see the place. This is a 17-unit co-op and we're all friendly with each other. No loud parties or loud music after 10pm out of respect for our elderly neighbors.

The perks: We have beautiful new central AC/heating units. The view from the porch is LOVELY.

The quirks: it's up 4 flights of stairs, there's no elevator or dishwasher.

Utilities: I'll charge a flat $150/month fee covering water, gas, electric, Internet unless there's some kind of extreme usage of a utility (like someone leaves the water running). We'll both sign a subletting contract so both everyone's rights are considered and everything's aboveboard.

If y'all are roommates, the bigger bedroom will be $1650 and the smaller $1450, utilities split between you.

Please reply with short-ish answers to:

1) what is your usual approach to cleaning & tidying?

2) what, beyond a couple suitcases, would you want to bring with you?

3) what is your work schedule like? When do you usually sleep? (Asking out of respect for, again, mostly elderly neighbors)
