This is a Dual Role position; part of your time will be spent performing help desk and IT related activities and part of you time will be spent assisting with Warehousing and staging equipment for upcoming projects.You should be tech-hungry, have a strong work ethic and ability to contribute to the growth of a small company. Be eager to learn about new hardware and software technologies.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day help desk operations.
Act as the outward facing point of contact with the customers “must have exceptional customer service”.
Escalate, review, and approve helpdesk tickets.
Monitor and supervise any and all helpdesk-related communications and activities
Ensure quality of service to our customers and partners
Video Surveillance Footage
Pull video footage based on customer requests.
Create video surveillance footage back-ups.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of video surveillance footage, i.e., dates, time, location, camera.
Internal Office IT Support
Support Desktops, Laptops, Nuc’s, Servers, Printers, Phone, Internet, Wireless, Displays, Routers, and Switches.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving software, OS, and application errors.
Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, and Wireless TCP/IP technology and DNS
Basic understanding of cloud, anti-virus, backup, and mobile technology
Software and Cloud Platforms include but are not limited too: Google G Suite, V-Tiger or Other Help Desk platforms, Smartsheet’s, TeamViewer, Windows Server, Windows 10.
Other IT related tasks as assigned.
Project & Warehousing Support
Warehousing and Inventory Control – Receive materials to warehouse and place in inventory: A Stock, B Stock, or Stage for Project. Maintain “Inventory Database”
Stage materials for upcoming projects and maintain “Materials Sign Out Database.”
Replenish inventory supplies, parts, spares, and consumables.
Follow up with vendors to ascertain tracking information, identify delays, changes to specified parts, and RMA status.
Preferred Knowledge and Certifications:
Network+, A+, MCSA and / or other certifications and experience considered.
Additional requirements include:
****Must be a resident of Washington D.C.****
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be time and attendance punctual.
Must have a Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift 75-lbs independently
