The Writer and Director of "Don't Tell Grandma I Met Him Online" has done it again through his Big Brother Butler Productions, with his new play,
BULLYING: THE NEW B-WORD
We are preparing to do taping at a prestigious theatre in the area next month and we need a few more actors!
Life for 12/14 yr. old Keona leaves a lot to be desired. Between not communicating with her mom and seldom ever seeing her dad except on occasional holidays, can she even take anymore, when the school bully begins to target her.
As 12/14 yr. old Rashaad struggles to find his way, it appears he doesn’t have a friend in the world. Will his school guidance counselor be that friend? Or how about old man Freeman?
Will he ever stand up to Zaveon the school bully?
Find out what happens to Keona and Rashaad as you watch this new comedy drama play unfold, coming to your school soon!
(You don’t necessarily have to be the age of the character if you can pass for the age of that character.)
KEONA-- Main female character, 10-14 yr. old daughter of Kathy who is constantly being harassed and bullied at school
SHAWNTELL—10-16 yr. old bully who thinks she is a badass and loves to humiliate and make fun of people in a threatening manner that usually ends up with violent results.
LAQUAN—10-16 yr. old Friend of Shawntell who is always by her side. She does whatever Shawntell tells her to do.
ALIYAH—10-15 yr. old good friend of Keona who supports her and always has her back.

We will have two sets of age groups: High School / Middle School and Elementary School age kids, so we can have actors which represent the entire school age spectrum so that all age levels can relate to it.
We will be doing two sets of shows, one for the High School /Middle school set and the other for Elementary schools set.
Right now we are looking for female actors ranging from 11-14 yrs. of age..... and a few males...
We will be auditioning this Saturday, March 27 at 3:30 pm in Hyattsville, MD. If you feel your child can play any of these roles, please email Mr. Butler at email@example.com or contact him at 301-440-1727 to set up an audition.
