This table has some wear - scratches on top and some discoloration but is still incredibly solid and functional. Eco-conscious and structurally sound, bamboo lengths are layered and pressed into a patent-pending timber that's harder than hardwood and less affected by changes in temperature and humidity. Stained a rich, deep kona brown, decoration is limited to a striking center channel along the sides and legs, and a simple narrow apron. Assembled with centuries-old wood joinery techniques, eliminating the need for nails or screws. Created in collaboration with designer Maria Yee. Renewable solid bamboo. Kona finish with clear protective lacquer. No nails or screws are used in the traditional wood joinery. Seats eight; ten with 20" extension leaf.
