This is in good condition. It works fine. Hardwire connection, not a plug in. I replaced because I wanted a quieter one. It is actually not much louder than the new one I bought, so if I had known I would have kept this on. If you are not replacing an existing disposal, you will need to buy the connection parts that go in the sink and connectors to dishwasher, etc. The parts are available at Home Depot. If you are handy and have some plumbing skills, you can install yourself.
