Gorgeous vintage Impressionist winterscape oil painting by M. Delion. Highly detailed with light Impasto relief effects, this large framed piece depicts in bright, contrasting colors of white, browns and greens a lonely farmstead in the American winter countryside, with a frozen brook running alongside a snowy, fenced pasture and leafless trees stretching under pastel white skies. Highly evocative scene, perfect for fans of rustic farmhouse decor or Impressionist art.

Signed bottom left side M. Delion (M. Pelion?), the painting measures 43 1/2" wide by 32" high with an image field of 35 1/2" wide by 24" high. In excellent vintage condition, with minimal signs of wear (a tiny spot of wear along the edge on the bottom left side [to the left of the signature] and a few light spots of wear to the frame).
