Early 20th-century leaded, stained glass (with copper foil technique) hanging light fixture with crown finial. The shade’s motif is of red grapes on a grapevine. Minor cracking of some glass elements, consistent with its age; no pieces are missing or loose.
I inherited the shade years ago from my grandparents who had it in one of the rooms of their home in Los Angeles from at least the 1950s. Probably dates to 1900-1920, when this motif was popular.
Would be great in a home with a wine cellar or for wine aficionados.
Could be a work by Kramer Brothers (NY) or Standard Art Glass (Milwaukee).
