Charming antique transferware, creamware child's mug titled: Franklins Maxims "Not to oversee workmen is to leave them your purse open." "The eye of the master is worth both his hands" 2 1/2 inches tall. Benjamin Franklin's Poor Richard maxims were often displayed on dishes for children in the early and mid-nineteenth century.
