I found this piece in my stepfather's shop about 1985. It was just a pile of pieces. Everything was black. Refinished and assembled, it's a beautiful walnut dresser, probably from the 1880s. Mixed wood, dovetailed drawers and burled walnut fronts with fancy fruit/nut pulls and key hole decorations add to its elegance. A white marble insert 18” x 9” x 7/8” sits in the center of the top.

Height 39 ½ “ with glove boxes; Width 41”; Depth 18” exclude pulls.

There are spaces at the back of the glove boxes that supported a mirror which no longer exists. The left glove box has a thin crack from front to back. There is a second crack in this glove box which is much finer and goes back about ¾ of the way back. (See Photos)

Two of the original locks for the glove boxes and two of the original locks for the large drawers are included. One key exists. The locks were not reinstalled and may or may not operate properly.

We've enjoyed this piece for 40 years but are now downsizing and it needs a new and loving home.

NO delivery! Cash Only; No bills larger than a $20 bill; NO coins!!! $175 OBO
