Leasing Consultant/Administrative Assistant (Tudor Place)

Position Title: Leasing Consultant/Administrative Assistant
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Residential
Reports to: Residential Property Manager

Position Summary: This position will oversee the day-to-day leasing operations and administrative responsibilities of the assigned residential community. This includes assisting with leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documents, assisting with move-in procedures, coordinating with maintenance technicians, and providing exceptionally friendly customer service.

Position Responsibilities:
 Complies with all federal, state, and local Fair Housing guidelines.
 Answer incoming calls.
 Establish rapport with future residents and all visitors.
 Assists PM and APM with leasing apartment homes to future residents and achieve necessary move-in goals.
 Assists future residents with completing leasing applications and collects all required forms
 Accepts fees associated with application process, security deposits, and utility payments
 Submits applications for verifications and approvals to the Property manager.
 Prepare move-in packages and conduct new resident orientations.
 Processes invoices, and maintains vendor/supplier contracting files
 Other duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Work Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of leasing, and/or customer service experience.
Knowledgeable of MS Office applications
Strong administrative skills
Fluent in English and Spanish (Bilingual)

Knowledge and Skills:
 Excellent customer service skills
 Effective oral and written communication skills
 Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel
 Strong problem solving and analytical capacities
 Highly organized with good time management skills
 Good understanding of sales and marketing concepts

Reporting to this position: None

Schedule: This is a full time, non-exempt position. The schedule will require 40 hours per week, including rotating Saturdays and may need to receive and route after-hours emergency calls to maintenance technicians. This schedule is subject to change based on business needs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical indoor, standard office, work environment, however the position does require the ability to physically tour the property in its entirety and assist with emergency measures as required.
