A framed poster from the Whitney Gallery of Western Art at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming (now called the Buffalo Bill Center of the West). The painting is titled "The Lost Greenhorn," by American artist Alfred Jacob Miller (1810-1874). Miller painted several versions of "The Lost Greenhorn"; this one is said to have been painted in 1851. The museum has a story that goes with the painting. The frame is 29.5 by 21.5 inches. Excellent condition. $30, cash only.
