A Bamileke elephant mask (mbap mteng), black cloth over burlap, decorated with thousands of polychrome beads in geometric patterns. Cameroon, circa mid-20th c.

The mask measures 50" high by approximately 17" wide, and it is displayed atop a custom stand 6” at the base.

Excellent condition. The beadwork appears to be completely intact across the mask.
