Unique youth/child mannequin, guessing 1940s or 1950s. Head and torso, all one piece; no arms. Stands about 42" tall. Model G252, which is stamped on top of head and on small of back. Wonderful painted face! I assume a wig was once attached, as there appears to be remnants of glue covering the head. There is definitely some wear--see photos for most noteworthy crack at shoulder--and dirt, but she has lots of character and history. Last photo is of base simply to show legs are hollow, but mannequin is a single solid piece. Silver Spring, just north of Colesville and off of New Hampshire Ave.
